Madra Training Field was born in 2023 with the conversion of the small horse barn and paddocks to a sheep facility and the creation of 2-acre exercise field.

The 2-acre exercise field has a 6ft fence and is safe for dogs to exercise and train free and off-leash. It has a small shed with human seating, water, toys, paw washing materials, poo bags and trash disposals. The sheep containment facility may be viewed from the exercise area but is completely separate. The production flock is a mix of Katahdin, Border Cheviot, and Cheviot Perindale crosses. Moon Rising Farm is expecting lambs February-March 2025. A limited number of lambs will be for sale July-December 2025.
